Northgate Ministry Centre
This is a place that you can come to, a community you can be part of, no matter who you are, or where in life you are coming from. If you are seeking meaning and purpose, looking for somewhere to celebrate and worship God, or just plain curious, northgate may be the place for you. It is our heart to accept and love All people, absolutely everyone. People are always considered welcome, and are intentionally made to feel like they belong.
We are a community bound together by love for one another, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to God in every way, and strive to glorify Him in all things. We have several partners, or partnering organisations who share the facilities with which God has blessed us.
Northgate is not interested in man-made rules or regulations, and is not about mankind's power or personal authority, but about The Lord's authority, and about people having a growing relationship with God and Jesus, relying upon Him and living life to the fullest.
Northgate Church
Northgate church, is located on Forest Way, at Belrose, and is the 'home base' or 'mission outpost' for northgate ministries. It is the place where we gather together each week to celebrate and worship The Lord as a community, and is the 'base of operation' for northgate's different ministries, as well as those of our partners. We are committed to the STEIG philosophy which God has placed on our hearts, and believe that it reflects the essence of our ministry.
Our weekly gathering is at 10am every Sunday except on long weekends, and usually runs for about an hour and a half. God has blessed northgate with an excellent worship band, whose dedication and committment ensure emotional and moving worship songs each week. Each service is followed by coffee and morning tea in the back hall, usually something delicious provided by regular attenders of the church.
We invite you again, no matter who you are, where you are from, or what you may believe in, to come along anytime you want. Nothing will be expected of you, and you will be welcomed and accepted no matter what.
Northgate is a great place to meet friends, to learn, to hear some good music, eat some good food, and of course to discover and become - 'all that God has made you to be.'
