Northgate Ministries

Welcome to Northgate - the community church with a big heart! Feel free to browse our site and, if you like what you see, come and visit us. Anyone and everyone is welcome.

We meet every Sunday at 10.00am and you will find us on the corner of Wearden Road and Forest Way, Belrose.

This is a place that you can come to, a community you can be part of, no matter who you are, or where in life you are coming from. If you are seeking meaning and purpose, looking for somewhere to celebrate and worship God, or just plain curious, northgate may be the place for you. It is our heart to accept and love All people, absolutely everyone. People are always considered welcome, and are intentionally made to feel like they belong.

We are a community bound together by love for one another, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to God in every way, and strive to glorify Him in all things.

Northgate is not interested in man-made rules or regulations, and is not about mankind's power or personal authority, but about The Lord's authority, and about people having a growing relationship with God and Jesus, relying upon Him and living life to the fullest.


We are a community that loves to worship the Lord, be equipped with sound Bible teaching and have all of this undergirded with prayer. We are committed to the STEIG (service, transformation, empowering, intensifying, glorifying) philosophy which God has placed on our hearts, and believe that it reflects the essence of our ministry.

Our Sunday service is followed by coffee and morning tea in the back hall, usually something delicious provided by regular attendees of the church.
