Living the love of Jesus

from here to the horizon

We are a Church of Christ Church on the corner of Wearden and Forest Ways - where following Christ is the centre of everything we do, we have a seat at the table for you too!

Join us Sunday

You’re welcome here

Whether you've been walking with Jesus for decades or you're simply curious, Sunday at Northgate is an unhurried hour and a half: honest worship, a sermon worth thinking about, and a genuinely good cup of coffee afterwards.

…ok maybe the coffee needs work, but the snacks are on point.

Our goal is to live the love of Jesus from here to the horizon. 1 John 4 calls us to a life of love — modelled by God, then by Jesus — and that shapes everything from how we gather on a Sunday to how we stock the shelves of our community pantry.

We want Sundays to be rejuvenating: spiritually invigorating and Christ-centred. We want following Christ to be the centre of what we do — not just information, but spiritual formation and a genuine devotional culture. We invest in families, build bridges into our community, and work to make this a place where people feel welcomed and loved.

A Church of Christ congregation has met at Belrose since the 1950s — a church born from a desire to seek restoration and unity. In 2004 that vision was born again as Northgate Church, and in 2022 Duncan Robinson was appointed Senior Pastor, carrying the same heart for unity, restoration and mission in Belrose.

Churches of Christ are diverse in expression but share a commitment to the Lordship of Jesus and the simplicity of New Testament Christianity. Simplicity and transformation sit at the core of who we are. Put simply: we are team Jesus.

  • 01 Mission that transforms A global mission strategy that is transformational and personal — central to our action and our thinking.

  • 02 Formation, not just information Developing a devotional culture where people are genuinely shaped by Christ.

  • 03 Families and bridges Investing in families and increasing the bridges between our church and our community.

  • 04 Welcomed and loved A community embracing the vision together and living the love of Jesus.

There’s more to a week than Sunday!

From playgroups to pantry shelves to small lounge rooms across the Northern Beaches — here's where life actually happens at Northgate.
